As members of the Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM), you have a unique opportunity to seek nomination for election to the Board of Directors and play an active role in shaping the future of the Institute. IMM will hold an Elective Annual General Meeting this year.
Four of the eight Board members are stepping down and will not seek re-election. All positions, including President and Vice President, are open to contest by members deemed fit for the roles.
Offices to be contested:
- President (1 position)
- Vice President (1 position)
- Council Directors (6 positions)
IMM is seeking strategic thinkers who understand the value of marketing for business growth and appreciate that the role of a Board of Directors focuses on financial sustainability, strategic direction, and integrity. Above all, we are looking for members who are passionate about marketing, can dedicate time to Board business, and will bring their strategic experience to the debate. Candidates should also believe in and demonstrate Nolan’s 7 Principles of Public Life.
In return, you will influence IMM’s business strategy, understand its governance, and make a real difference to Malawi’s leading professional marketing body.
