Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM) conducted the 2022 Marketers’ Conference at Sunbird Livingstonia in Salima from October 26th to October 29th 2022.
The opening day of the conference featured eye-opening presentations from Dumisani Lingamangali Ncube, Edith Jiya, Ndela Sichizya, Paul Bailey, Dr Gertrude Mateyo, Levie Nkunika, Lekani Katandula and our Keynote speaker Helen McIntee.
Helen McIntee is a vastly experienced marketing professional and an accomplished author, journalist and public speaker. She is skilled in Business Management, Marketing Strategy, Business Management among others. She is the co-founder and President of the African Marketing Confederation (AMC). She unpacked the Marketing Agenda in Africa during her presentation.
Levie Nkunika of FDH Financial Holdings Limited unpacked how we can excel through Responsible Leadership. Levie is an accomplished thought leader with vast experience in the marketing domain. Edith Jiya, Group CEO of Old Mutual Malawi tackled the topic on how one can build a financially secure future. Lekani Katandula, Managing Director at Illovo Sugar Malawi plc, unpacked the role of Marketing in building financially viable enterprises.
Dr Gertrude Mateyo, CEO at Precious Medical Insurance, delivered a topic on Mental Health and Work Success. Paul Bailey, Brand Strategy Director at Halo delivered a topic on how Commercial Creativity is much more than Advertising. Ndela Sichizya, Marketing and Communications Manager at Absa Bank Zambia PLC adressed a topic on creating effective brand strategies that enhance customer value.
Dumisani Lingamangali Ncube, The Radical Entrepreneur, delivered a topic on Thriving Beyond Your Imagination. On Day 2 of the Conference he also delivered a Masterclass which hammered down on this year’s Conference theme of “Surviving to Thriving”.
